Boric Acid

Description

Our boric acid is “technical grade” and is it’s 99.5% pure which is excellent for the grade. It is a very soft powder dotted with some slightly larger pieces. If you need fine boric acid, you can sieve those larger pieces out; some of them do crumble in your fingers.

The jars and buckets we use for our boric acid are made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene) injected into a single mould. A single mould means no joins, which means a much stronger container.

One thing we like about our jars and buckets is the tamper-proof seal on the lid. It’s a one-way seal and will crack off the first time you open it, giving you the confidence it hasn’t been opened since being packed at our factory.

Storing the boric acid in a cool and dark place will keep the boric acid safe for years, even decades. The lid is fitted with a liner for an air-tight seal to add further protection.

We pack the jars and buckets into a custom-designed, double-lined cardboard box. The contents are super snug, which keeps it safe for the entire journey to you.

400g will be enough for most of the typical home use scenarios, such as getting rid of ants, cockroaches, fleas, and for use in the wash.

If you have two or three uses for boric acid, then this is the size for you. For example, if you have a sporadic ant or cockroach problem and use it for another purpose.

We chose a shorter and wider container to avoid toppling issues, and so that it fits on the storage shelf a little easier.

We’ve included a 30ml scoop in the jar too. Like with washing detergent, having the spoon right there, ready to use is such a great convenience. This makes for easy and hassle-free use.
